Oriental Land Company and Disney announced yesterday that Tokyo Disneyland Resort will be home to the second permanent Cirque du Soleil theater on Disney property.
The first, located at Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney West Side, houses the popular "La Nouba," a show designed specifically for the resort. The Tokyo show will be Cirque's first permanent theater constructed outside the United States.
Las Vegas hosts four resident Cirque shows: "O," "Zumanity," "Mystere" and the recently opened "Ka." The "circus for grownups," as Cirque du Soleil's shows are commonly called, also has six other shows touring worldwide. Click here to read the press release. (requires Acrobat Reader)
