Paul Winchell, known to generations as the voice of Tigger in the Winnie the Pooh franchise, has died in the Los Angeles area. He was 82.
In the 1950s and 60s Winchell appeared on television as a ventriloquist with his creations Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smiff. An accomplished inventor, Winchell also held more than 30 patents, including one for a prototype artificial heart.
Actor John Fiedler died on Saturday at age 80. Audiences will recognize Fiedler as the voice of Piglet in Disney's Pooh franchise.
Fiedler also starred in stage productions, films and television. His most-remembered television appearance was as Mr. Peterson on the 1970s sitcom The Bob Newhart Show.
